Fed up with life in the UK we moved to France for a new start. Left behind the private schooling, traffic jams and housing estates for a better quality of life. We now live in Brittany, France running gites (holiday cottages).

Last year I missed the Scorpions at the three day rock festival in Brittany at Bobital, Terre Neuvas, so this year I decided to buy tickets before the line-up was confirmed. So far there are a number of French bands confirmed but also, a bit of a suprise, Little Richard, Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis have joined together to perform at this years festival.
Lets hope they are still alive for the 8th July.

These are our experiences of running a gite business in Brittany, France. A gite is the French equivalent of a country holiday cottage. French culture, language, taxes and bureaucracy.
