RUN/WALK -- 35 MINUTES, WEIGHT -- 234

Add Dr. S.G. Esmail to the list of physicians badly in need of time management training. The North York neurologist kept my mother and me waiting for 2 hours when we arrived early for an appointment for her.

Thus, I delivered her home late, and arrived home just as it was getting dark, too late to head to the spit for a workout. I ended up on the treadmill in the small gym downstairs in our condo building.

First time I had ever run on the treadmill, other than for a stress test 20 years ago. It was kind of fun but certainly relentless. You set the pace for 14 mins per mile and you do 14 mins per mile, no ifs or buts.

Hope I didn't inadvertently go too hard as 2 hours later I'm falling asleep. I must be so careful to avoid any possibility of injury.
