WALK -- 17 MINUTES TREADMILL, BIKE -- 15 MINS, WEIGHT -- 237

This morning, I had an appointment with the physiotherapist for ultrasound treatment, heat and a brief massage--all behind the left knee where the hamstring starts. Sure felt good afterward, for several hours, anyway.

Alex, the physiotherapist, has been running 13 years, mainly marathons and the half. He qualified for and ran Boston in 2003. He qualified at 3:15 but ran an hour slower because of a groin pulled playing hockey with his son the week prior to the hallowed event.

It's great to be treated by a professional who understands running.
