GO TRANS-ATLANTIC IN 2006!

If you're interested in crossing the Atlantic, go http://www.trawlertransatlantic.com to sign up for entry information on future trans-oceanic rallies for ocean-capable powerboats.

Pacific Asian Enterprises, builder of Nordhavn and organizers of the 2004 event, does not plan to host future trans-Atlantic rallies but a group of us involved in the initial event are planning to carry on what Nordhavn has pioneered.

"The rally was a huge success, in every respect," says Jim Leishman, vice-president of Pacific Asian Enterprises, "In time, we may look at a rally to Southeast Alaska, or some other trips, perhaps at a lower level of responsibility and support, but as far as the Atlantic goes, we'll leave it to others."

A picture named px_l3_unomasingale.jpg On the final morning of the rally, as we approach Gibraltar, Mother Nature asserts herself with a gale on the nose. This dramatic photo of Uno Mas, a Nordhavn 40, was taken by Ken Williams aboard his Nordhavn 62 Sans Souci.

WELCOME!
