Happy New Year
Sorry it's been a while since I've written. Too much excitement over the Christmas season I guess. New Year's Eve was pretty darned quite around our place. In fact Joe didn't even make it to midnight. Alan and Iris were out so it was just Jamie and I ringing in 2006. Here's hoping it's a good one for all of us.
Newer Model
Joe's doctor told him today that he has high blood pressure. They're going to try to control it with diet and exercise, but if that doesn't work he'll have to start taking medication. I really didn't think we'd be dealing with issues like this for some time to come yet, but I guess at 50 you can't always count on perfect health. I told him I was going to have to trade him in for a newer model!
