Yet again, the powers in Redmond have stuck it to us. They are releasing a patch that has had about as much testing as a PeopleSoft application (expecting the users to test it for them) into an environment where most people don't have a clue about what they are running on their machines, let alone how this wonderful, UNDOCUMENTED patch is going to affect close to 1000 applications (probably by turning off features that are needed and ignoring the truely glaring security holes it is supposed to be fixing, but I digress).
Grab your ankles on this one - the virus writers are already hard at work on the next generation of worms to mess up your newly patched system...
