I thought this was an interesting story. Kind of like a Cardinal saying Jesus wasn't the son of God, only with facts to back it up...of course, those of us that have read the DiVinci Code know the truth.

Oracle gets its way, finally. A year-and-a-half of rancor, posturing and courtroom testimony comes to an end as PeopleSoft agrees to be acquired. [CNET News.com]
File this under inevitable. We knew it was coming. It was only a matter of time. The real question is what of the PeopleSoft engine will Oracle retain - I am guessing very little.
