Monday, January 31, 2005 |
On Saturday, February 5, 2005, the Prince William County Amateur Radio Emergency Service® (ARES®) will have an organizational meeting from 9 AM until Noon. We will be meeting at #3 Prince William County Complex, Prince William, Virginia. Better known as the Owens Building, it is located behind the McCoart building at the County Complex off of the Prince William County Parkway near the middle of the County.
The meeting will introduce you to the new PWCARES action plan and lay out the ground work for the coming year. We have a full agenda scheduled. Please bring a writing implement and you may want a note pad. ID pictures will also be taken. The meeting is open to all currently licensed Amateur Radio Operators, regardless of club affiliation or ARRL membership. A formal agenda will be sent out on Thursday, February 3, 2005.
Please respond if you plan to attend so that we can make sure we have enough hand-outs and seats.

Readers respond to Firefox column. Column titled "Business Must Be Cautious With Firefox" generates reader response. [Computerworld News]
Too bad I missed the original article. I have Firefox on my desktop, but I haven't fully converted over to it. I used to use Netscape and still think it is one of the best browsers ever made. Maybe it is time to force a switch of default browsers and see what happens and what I can and cannot do.
