Study: Suicide Query Won't Plant the Idea (AP). AP - Asking teenagers about suicide won't make them more likely to contemplate it, as some parents and school officials fear, a study suggests. In fact, the study found that simply asking troubled students about any suicidal impulses appears to ease their distress and might make some of them less likely to try killing themselves. [Yahoo! Now if we can get the same survey down about sex, we will begin to make progress.

Group encourages government workers to telecommute. WASHINGTON -- A group of technology vendors, along with U.S. government technology leaders, on Tuesday launched an effort to encourage federal workers to explore telecommuting as an option. [InfoWorld: Top News]

And just as soon as government managers join the 21st century, this will happen, until then, we will be schleping to work as usual.

Frist Says Courts in Schiavo Case Acted Fairly (Reuters). Reuters - U.S. Senate Republican leader Bill Frist said on Tuesday that courts had acted fairly in the Terri Schiavo "right-to-die" case, differing sharply from a vow of retribution by his House of Representatives counterpart, Tom DeLay. [Yahoo! News: Top Stories]

Gee, surprise...the courts did what they were supposed to do.  Protect the public and uphold the LAW as written, not imposed.  What a surprise.  Now maybe the other members of Congress should read their copies of the Constitution so the understand the principle as well.
