Orioles, MLB reach deal on Nationals TV contract. The Baltimore Orioles and baseball reached agreement Thursday on a deal that will allow games involving the new Washington Nationals ... [USATODAY.com MLB AL - Top Stories]
If King Peter wants to have a successful franchise and retain his fan base, he needs to do what every team in the country does, stop whining and put a winning team on the field, not a group of slobs that could not cut it at AAA or worse, should no longer be playing the game in the first place. Washington has supported Baltimore because they really had no other choice. Now they do.

Microsoft Expands Anti-Linux Campaign (PC World). PC World - Software giant plans to promote Windows as a more reliable platform. [Yahoo! News: Technology]
Windows supercomputer version delayed. The software maker had hoped to deliver it by fall, but now says a final version won't arrive until early next year. [CNET News.com]
From the Janis department, we have Microsoft out touting their OS. From their own studies it shows how lies, damn lies and statistics are in full swing - Mircosoft will tell you that in their tests, Windows Servers outperformed Linux by 15%. What they will not mention is that the 15% is a difference of only 20 minutes (and I wonder what sorts of work they were requiring each server to do). Meanwhile Microsoft cannot get a cluster server to market, while Linux has had a solid cluster service in full deployment for more than 5 years, and it is a flexible one that takes advantage of any kind of hardware.
So where do you want to be in 5 years?

U.S. blogger thwarts Canadian gag order. Minnesota man is thumbing his nose at a Canadian gag order. His blog posts could endanger the ruling Liberal Party. [CNET News.com]
I won't say anything more and if you are from a Canadian ISP, or located in Canada, just pass right on by...nothing to see here...but if the hearings are public, why the gag order? (Yes, I know, because the jury is not sequestered....maybe they should be...).
