Frankly, unless you are rendering graphic, dealing with video production or medical films, 64-bit computing has no real practical value for the average end user. Most people do not need the computing power they have now, as is witnessed by the number of people that can surf the Internet on their cell phones. If you can do it with the computing power in a phone, why do you need a 64-bit machine that can handle gigabytes of RAM and terabytes of data?
