Ga. Gov. Signs Voter ID Mandate Into Law (AP). AP - Gov. Sonny Perdue on Friday signed into law a requirement that voters show photo identification before casting ballots, legislation that had prompted most black lawmakers to walk out of the state Capitol. [Yahoo! News: U.S. National]

While those that champion the downtrodden have a point that there will be some people who will not be able to present a photo ID (not it does NOT say driver's license) simply because they have no fixed address, this is not a bad thing.  Most states will issue a photo ID to anyone that asks for one, and in this day in age, not having one is a bigger handicap than being a minority.  Not being allowed to vote because you are unable to prove who you are and that you have a right TO vote is NOT something anyone who can vote should be opposed to, regardless of ideology.

Entertainment Quote From the AP (AP). AP - "I don't want to hear some stupid jingle in the middle of a song." — Bruce Springsteen, asking fans to turn off their cell phones at a "rehearsal show" of his upcoming "Devils & Dust" tour. [Yahoo! News: Technology]

This is the entire article, but it begs the question, why would you have your phone on anything but vibrate at a rock concert anyway?  The other obvious question can be answered "because the kids are at home with a 10 year old sitter..."  But that is a different issue.
