Scientists Say Sunshine May Prevent Cancer (AP). AP - Scientists are excited about a vitamin again. But unlike fads that sizzled and fizzled, the evidence this time is strong and keeps growing. If it bears out, it will challenge one of medicine's most fundamental beliefs: that people need to coat themselves with sunscreen whenever they're in the sun. Hitachi replacing PCs with thin clients. Concerns about data security are making Hitachi, one of Japan's biggest electronics companies, replace more of its employees' PCs with thin clients, the company said at a news conference Monday. [InfoWorld: Top News]
In general, this is not a bad idea. Most users don't need all the processing power they have now.
