Could You Outwit These Teens?. Do you know what country is the world's largest debtor nation? [The Motley Fool]
Well I got three of the questions right. OK, so what country is the largest debtor nation was a gimme so I got two of the five questions right. And I never had more than a summer school course on Economics and I was much more interested in studying the ladies in the class than I was about discussing Adam Smith's theories. That being said, how many did you get right? And more importantly, did you get the one about the debtor nation?

Payroll growth surprisingly slow (Reuters). Reuters - U.S. employers added only 78,000 workers to their payrolls last month, far fewer than expected, a government report showed on Friday, but the unemployment rate edged down to it lowest level since September 2001. [Yahoo! News: Top Stories]
Until there is a major hiring in the tech sector, there will be continued economic sluggishness. This is a fact of life. The vast majority of people out of work and looking for work are in the services sector and companies have been making do with less for years now in an effort to keep the bottom lines looking good instead of worrying about serving their customers. As a result, the workers that do the serving, as well as the customers are all getting the shaft, and the economy is taking the hit.
