Reuters soundman killed in Baghdad, police blame US (Reuters). Reuters - A Reuters Television soundman was shot dead in Baghdad on Sunday and a cameraman who was wounded was still being questioned by U.S. troops 12 hours later.[Yahoo! News: Top Stories]
Do not expect the true story on this one to ever come out. In fact, do not expect anymore details. If it is true, things in Iraq are a lot worse than the U.S. government wants people to believe and they will do everything to keep it quiet.

Hurricane Katrina Makes Landfall in La. (AP).
AP - Hurricane Katrina slammed ashore early Monday and charged toward this low-lying city with 150-mph winds and the threat of a catastrophic storm surge.

There is no question this is the story of the week. When this happens, people wonder what they can do to help? Donate money to the American Red Cross's disaster relief program or donate blood. Either will be greatly appriciated, either by the residents of the struck area, or your local area as the Labour Day weekend aproaches, and the blood supply is lower than it has been all year.
