Botany surveys for these developments: Westbluffs (WB), Hughes Aircraft Corporate Headquarters (HAC), Loyola Marymount University Leavey Campus Expansion (LMU), Hughes Kentwood Bluffs housing tracts (KW), Marina Freeway/Route 90 extension project.

 

KEY TO TABLE:

Plants are listed in alphabetical order by family by the Latin name, as they would be listed in botanical books. The first line features the common name first, followed by the botanical name (in Latin).

 

The second line features the location in the Ballona Wetlands area where the plants have been found. Parcels A, B and C are owned by the State of California and were acquired in 1988 and 2003. Parcel A is located north of Ballona Creek and West of Lincoln Blvd. Parcel B is located south of Ballona Creek and West of Lincoln Blvd. Parcel C is located north of Ballona Creek and east of Lincoln Blvd.

 

Parcel D is located south of Ballona Creek and east of Lincoln Blvd. and is being developed and bulldozed currently, although approximately half of this 460 acre parcel has not been developed yet.
