| In an interview in Vol 24, Issue 13 of Fronteirs George Takei comes out. "You know, it’s not really coming out, which suggests opening a door and stepping through. It’s more like a long, long walk through what began as a narrow corridor that starts to widen."
Takei is 68 and, according to the article, is (among other credentials) Chairman Emeritus of the board of trustees of the Japanese American National Museum, and he serves on the advisory committee of the California Civil Liberties Public Education Program |
