My doctor says... People with mild to moderate asthma should indeed get one of the limited number of available flu shots. Every year my doctor advises me to get a flu shot since I have asthma, though I feel relatively healthy. Now with the announcement of an American flu shot shortage, am I one of the people who really needs it or not? I'm going to make some phone calls today and try to find the answer.
