Mike Moore gets 90% Approval from Film Critics

This Editor and Publisher survey of film reviews of  Fahrenheit 9/11 cuts through some of the ideological ranting. From the article:

"An E & P survey of 63 daily papers that ran reviews, in "red" and "blue" states alike, finds that 56 gave the film a positive nod, with only 7 abstaining, an almost 90% favorable rating. "

According to E & P, some of the favorable reviews come  from newspapers known to be  moderate-to-conservative.

My humble review: Yes, there were moments when I felt Moore was stretching some facts beyond the breaking point, but I feel much more manipulated when I watch mainstream television newscasts, and not just the one that promotes itself as "fair and balanced."  If the press provided more historical context and critical assessments of the issues Moore raises, he wouldn't have the openings ( or audience) for his work. The film is  powerful social commentary.  I laughed, got worked up over the abuses of power, and cried over the human costs.
