Cheney Accidentally Shoots Friend In Neck, Cheek And Chest During Quail Hunt. Vice President, Dick Cheney, accidentally shot a friend, Harry Whittington, 78, in the neck, cheek and chest during a quail hunt in Texas. According to Katharine Armstrong, the owner of the ranch where the hunting trip took place, Whittington is doing fine in hospital (CNN).
