Montjuic is the mountain in Barcelona that is closest to the seafront.
Did you know that people have been living in Montjuic since the Stone Age? About two hundred years ago, a neolitic graveyard was discovered on the seaside front of this mountain. The grounds are today´s Mossem Costa i Llobera gardens, famous for it´s cactus collection.
Also I must say that these gardens and grounds also attract muggers.It must be the feeling of history.
