World AIDS Day
Globally, nearly 40 million people are living with AIDS.
From WorldVision:
...Over 12 million children in Africa have lost one or both parents to AIDS. Nearly 7,000 children are orphaned each day.
...By 2010, experts predict that 25 million of the world's children will be orphaned because of AIDS.
...The vast majority of these orphaned and vulnerable children do not have AIDS.
