The best story of the winter Olympics has finally come out: "Olympic Cheerleaders: They Won't Rock You." The games have an official cheerleading squad that appears to be the low point of the Olympic experience. The outfits are pretty nasty and it sounds like they are struggling to find their niche. I've always had a love/hate thing with cheerleaders. I appreciate that they add some element of excitement to a sporting event, can be a nice downtime distraction, and some of the stuff a good squad can do is absolutely unbelievable and death defying. But at the same time, if they aren't good it can become an incredible annoyance, case in point. Dance team? Now that's a WHOLE different story.
