Arts in Education Model Development

Karyn Russ sent this link along and suggested it might be used to fund our music and art consultant.

The applicant must be a LEA (Local educational agency). This is probably a Dept. of Ed. designation and perhaps Jane or Karen know if PCMS is an LEA.

Also,.... From the description of the grant it says that Applicants must describe an existing set of strategies for integrating the arts into the regular elementary and middle school curricula, which could then successfully be implemented, expanded, documented, evaluated, and disseminated. This means we have to have a current set of strategies to be implemented and describe how we would (use the grant $$) to expand and implement our (Arts) strategy.

This is what would be covered in our grant request. This grant opportunity should be included as a candidate to help with the need Karyn suggested. Great!!
