Fairy Flora by Mirabilia Here's a picture of Fairy Flora by Mirabilia Design area is 8" x 20" Stitch Count is 126 x 320  Recommended fabric is 32 count linen (Barnwood) by Wichelt Imports   4:48:33 PM    comment [] Mermaid Heaven at 180 hours                   Well, here it is at 180hrs I have stitched 16,320 sts so far and have 11,400 to go! The back stitching is very hard to see. 12:28:34 PM    comment [] Mermaid Heaven, pattern problems                      I thought I would write some notes about working on this pattern. The pattern at times is a pain. The symbols are in different colors: black, grey and red. The gold backstitching is another problem.  Also the pattern is in pages so you have to be careful with not making straight lines when you get to the bottom.  I find I need to have two patterns, one for the regular stitching and another just for the back stitching.  A yellow hi lighter works the best if your not worried about the back stitching.  So I just make another copy of the pattern for the backstitching and use a pencil to color it in as I stitch.  If your handy with your computer it's a great tool when making copies.  I change the contrast,enlarge it, etc. I use  a program called Photo Suite, but Im sure there are many programs you can use to get the job done. The picture here has been enlarged & sharpened, wich causes the gold to change to yellow.  I can see it much better! 12:22:09 PM    comment [] Progress on Mermaid Heaven Well I just finished doing Mermaid Heaven. I did 4 hrs today. The back stitching in gold is tough. I can only stitch a few stitches at a time to keep up with the backstitching. Im doing the back stitching as I go.
