Smoked Pork Roast

A picture named armpicnic.jpgI should have posted this Super Bowl Sunday Feb 6th, but we where having so much fun eating I forgot!

This is a Pork shoulder Picnic 8 lbs my husband smoked sunday. He started this at:6:45 started bricks & chimney starter (arranged bricks in ring)7:25  Put Pork roast on 7:35 Temp 320 7:45 Temp 310 8:00 Temp 300 add extra bricks 8:05  Temp 350 8:20 Temp 340 8:40 Temp 310 Add wood chips, (start small amount of bricks in chimney starter) 9:00 Temp 300 9:20 Temp 290 9:25 Add xtra bricks & wood chips 9:35 Temp 310 10:10 Temp 310 10:30 Temp 290 Start C.S. with extra bricks 10:50 Temp 290 11:10 Temp 270 Add more bricks Turn Meat 11:15 Temp 350  Open lid to drop temp to 320 11:40 Temp 290 12:40 Temp 260 1:40 Temp 225 Start extra bricks 210 Temp 200 Add extra bricks 2:20 Temp 290 2:50 Temp 260 3:30 lTemp 260 3:30 Take Off Done! I need to save these notes in case we make another one some day soon.
