A twice-convicted child molester who was asking to join a North County congregation has been evicted from the Escondido condominium complex where he had been living.

A Mentor woman accused of bilking condo owners out of $3.4 million will plead guilty to fraud in U.S. District Court, her lawyer said Friday morning. "Kathleen DeSalvo takes full responsibility," said Virginia Hearey, her attorney. "She offers a full apology to the condo assocations."
