“It's the city's fault. It's a fact,” said Property Manager Maria Medeiros of Southeastern Property Management Inc., the firm hired by the association to oversee the complex. “The association is in the process of filing a lawsuit. The unit owners will do everything necessary to recoup their losses,” she said.

Three of the four board members of the Oak Hollow Homeowners Association were in Superior Court in Mount Holly yesterday to defend themselves against a civil lawsuit charging they mismanaged association fees and funds generated from special assessments.
