CA: Lawsuit seeks damages from city's 2005 flood An August hearing date has been set in Solano County Superior Court for further consideration of a negligence suit filed against the city of Vacaville and a condominium association regarding damages suffered during the 2005 New Year's Eve flooding. 8:37:19 AM

CA: State agencies, homeowners battle over beach use Also at issue are the two homeowner association-owned gates. They were built in 1977 as replacements to older gates without a coastal development permit, according to the Coastal Commission.
