A new organization, calling itself the Palm Springs Council of Homeowner Association Presidents will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 5.

The reason this seems noteworthy, at least to my geeky mind, is that I see many of the same set of issues repeatedly, so I’d like to offer some sort of list of the things one might find when looking at a condo of, say 45 years. Now

Ivan Holler, the deputy planning director who has led San Diego County's nine-year quest to overhaul its building and growth guidelines, said Wednesday that he's leaving the county to become planning director of Rancho Santa Fe.
