Where to cash travellers cheques?
Beware that even though American Express or Thomas Cook state and
suggest banks that will cash your travellers cheques , most of the
times they will not.
Why?
After asking several bank directors they all state that there are just
too many false cheques going around and they will not accept them
anymore or just give you trouble to avoid you asking for their
reimbursment.
The solution:
Next to our Barcelona Hostel please go the the branch of the
Caixa at Plaça Universitat and they will do the job for you, for
now.
