The Abbey Restaurant.
The Abbey in Atlanta, Georgia provides a unique dining experience. The restaurant is in an old church and has
60 foot ceilings and stained glass windows. The male staff wear monks[base '] robes and the food is elegant, including a
butter poached lobster with Jerusalem artichokes and a pan seared ostrich loin. The Abbey is large but there are
private and semi-private dining areas available in the sanctuary, the wine cellar and the altar. The restaurant
also has a cigar-friendly lounge area and a wine list which has earned Wine Spectator[base ']s Award of Excellence.
