Ricky Gervais v. Ian Dempsey
It looks like Ricky Gervais' new podcast looks set to end the
domination of the top of the Irish iTunes charts by breakfast
radio shows - specifically Ian Demspey. Ricky is currently no.2 - I bet
he'll be no.1 by end of today. ( He is already no.1 in UK iTunes Charts ) 11:00:16 AM ![]() |
Thinking outside the box office
Good interview with Stephen Soderbergh in Wired by Xeni Jardin. His new movie was shot completely digitally and will be released in all formats - Theatre, DVD and Hi-Def Cable on the same day. If this is successful, it could radically change the traditional release "windows" for films. Soderbergh predicts that within 5 years, all movies will be released simultaneouly in all channels - which by then will include video iPod, web download, mobile, memory card, PSP download, Xbox online movies and downloadable movies for you toaster!!.....and so on. 10:57:17 AM ![]() |
