Is MySpace Over? Is MySpace all over and about to go the way of Friendster ( the original of the Social Networking Species)?. This guy thinks so http://www.consumerist.com/consumer/fuck-myspace/fuck-myspace-were-deleting-our-profile-174723.php. Bebo should watch out! 11:24:45 AM  comment []
New IIA Blog...+ Miriam O'Callaghan! The IIA has a new blog - http://blog.iia.ie. This should be a good forum for all the IIA members and watchers to debate some of the issues affecting the InterWeb in Ireland. It seems to be off to a good start - I like the post giving feedback on RTE's Primetime item on Bebo. Primetime is getting more and more like those sensational American shows - like Hardcopy etc and dare I say it- the parodies in The Daily Show or BrassEye. Everytime they cover Internet stuff, it seems to be only about Perverts, Porn, Pedophiles, Bebo and Bullies ( now that they can't do the dotcom Boom/Bust stuff anymore ). Now while these are serious issues and deserve consideration - they are not the ONLY issues. Anyway - it's good to see the IIA getting into the conversation. 8:57:17 AM  comment []
Channel 4 Selling episodes of LOST online Channel 4 is now selling LOST episodes online at a price tag of 99p, in a move that looks like C4 is trying to get purchasable TV downloads online, before the APPLE juggernaut comes to town. You can also watch the first 2 episodes of this season's LOST for free. It's good to see Channel 4 innovating and leading the way for other broadcasters. More Info here: http://www.channel4.com/lost 8:44:51 AM  comment []
