Knowing Your PC
As a trader using the internet it is important to know at least something about your PC and your connection to the internet. On both you are heavily depending on. The more you know the better.
This is usefull for your trading (be it daytrading or positiontrading) for two reasons. The first reason is to be able to solve quickly and accurately problems with your PC if they occur or to have at least an idea where the problem might be. What can you do? You can use the internet.
CNET regularly offers free online courses on various subjects. At 21 april starts a course about Windows XP Maintenance. Sign up and study.
The second reason to know more about the use of your PC is to maximise the computer for your daily trading. There are many things you have to consider and many programs which you need. A list of required programs, but by no means complete:
