Whisky fans can drink to crop research. Research into the genetics of barley could lead to improved varieties of the crop most commonly used in the production of whisky and beer. Thanks to the Daily Glyph for telling me about the JungleCast updates and linking to the Test Pit.  The JungleCast is a cool Sight Seeing podcast from Palenque, Mexico and various Mayan ruins.  Very cool, check it out.

I am working with Archaic burials right now in Middle Tennessee.  Lotsa pit burials, flexed, most in fairly good condition.  I would post pics but regulations prevent me (and everyone else) from displaying remains (via internet, store fronts, etc.). 

The Test Pit podcast is still in production and will one day be ready for all to hear.
