Phew and Fire

Why is it that we must first light a fire under our own okoles, in order to get anyone else moving?

Phew. The tech at NSI walked me through the process of moving this blog to a new server. We had to reset the password on something, then it worked. If this is successful, you shouldn't notice anything. Why is success always invisible while fuck-ups attract so much attention?

Now, it's just a matter of reconfiguring all the software to use da new kine instead of da ol' kine. 'Den stay wait fo' ala bits percolate 'froo da kine. An' lydat.

I don't envy a novice trying to switch their website to a more efficient server - it's just complicated enough that you have to either call up or give up.

Anywads - please be patient if this blog shows signs of probability shift. I'm rebuilding my whole web infrastructure - changing providers and servers and socks without warning or reason. Parts may be held together by digital duct tape until every duct involved chooses to become once-again obediently sequential.
