Here's the link for Bob's pictures!

And a shout out to Jonathan Marquez for finishing his first marathon! He almost didn't make it because of a heat injury. When he passed out on the side of the road, nobody stopped to see if he was alright. I have been trying to restrain some rants about the marathon, but i might have to go anyways. Well, I'll make it quick.

1) Two water stops that ran by were out of water. One water and one Gatorade stop were pouring cups as people ran by. This is poor planning and unacceptible. 23,000+ people are relying on the provided hydration (especially when it's 72 degrees outside) and people could have been hurt by the poor planning of the L.A. Marathon staff.

2) I had to purchase a finisher t-shirt online for $22 plus shipping/tax and there was nothing available at the race. Not only did Honolulu provide the finisher shirt, but other finisher shirts were available for purchase after the race and locally. This was very cool and a sadly missed marketing opportunity. A plain shirt was provided at the Expo, but it's not a finisher shirt.

3) Friends and Family had to walk blocks out of the way after watching us cross the finish line before they could meet up with us. Many people could not find there group and had to resort to making "so and so is waiting patiently at the stage" announcements.

On the positive side there were a few cool bands playing and the weather could not have been better.
