So now that it's official (see below) I'm not really sure what I want to do now that I am unemployed.  I have several application in, and I am planning to submit several more: all IT jobs and mostly in the CSU system.  I enjoy working with higher education.  I wonder if I am really averse to change or if I am simply being realistically cautious?  I have been pushing for the IT job on campus that opened up.  I was beat out of an ITC position by the other Mac guy on campus, who leaves his job tomorrow with NO Mac support for the entire university.  Astounding.  The IT department knows about me and that I "know some stuff" on Mac and have brought my name up in meetings.  So hopefully this becomes EMPLOYMENT because ... well, driving young couples around selling over priced homes just might not do it for me. What about commercial real estate though?  There is a whole field (which I know NOTHING about) that could be interesting.  I suppose I owe it to myself to go out and interview some potential employers in both IT and RE and see what happens.  At least with IT I could expect a paycheck. 12:04:20 AM  comment []
