I have black 2004 Honda Element with 32,700 miles. According to the owners manual I need to change the oil/filter, air filter element, tranny fluid, and rotate the tires. I come to the dealer and they want $246 to do that, replace the brake fluid, and CHECK and INSPECT lots of other things. Needless to say I just couldn't pay that much for an oil change so I compared the major service to the minor service and got that. What gives here? If they are supposed to provide factory service then shouldn't they offer me factory service rather than sell me some bogus overpriced inspection? The tech is going to inspect that stuff anyways in order to find any potential upsells! Basically, I went with the $146 package so I could screw around on my laptop rather then getting dirty and trying to dispose of fluids. lol. 12:16:03 PM comment [] Google It! |
