Speaking of Writely ... anybody have any idea how to post to Radio Userland from Writely? I've tried using my.blog.name/RPC2 but it's not working ... comment [] trackback [] 2:00:42 PM |

Congratulations to Writely on being acquired by google! I think this promises a great future now with lots of growth. Any roadmap as to when writely can extend to spreadsheets? comment [] trackback [] 1:55:23 PM |

If you have been checking out Goowy let me know what you think. I want the experience but I don't really want to spend a lot of time creating new email, etc. It seems that this type of virtual desktop is going to be the way to compute in the future. On a corporate level check out Softricity. they a solution that you can setup that allows you to access a "sandbox" (kind of like the Goowy concept) and have all your apps / etc on any machine with a browser and a net connection. Outlook Web Access (owa) for 2003 is very similar. The web access is very similar to the client experience. I'm considering going web access solely when we upgrade just to see how painful it is! comment [] trackback [] 1:36:02 PM |

I don't really want my roomba to do anything but work. Lately we've been having a lot of problems just getting it to vacuum like it's supposed to. Of course, Roomba customer service is great ... when you can get them on the phone. Have you hacked your Roomba? It ain't as hard as you might think -- and an easy way to get started in Robotics. - Eideard [Dvorak Uncensored] comment [] trackback [] 10:44:51 AM |

There are some hiking pictures on Flickr but since the upload limit sucks I've put them up on iweb instead. Check out the Icehouse Canyon pics. Links to the right as well. comment [] trackback [] 12:34:38 AM |
