All the pieces are there for a harmoniously productive lifestyle but it just doesn't all work together.  Plaxo provides a strong service and even syncs with the Mac but not with Google Calendar.  I can subrscribe to my GC in iCal but not update it.  Palm Desktop doesn't really work with anything but does work really well by itself. At one point I was syncing the palm to ical and syncing/publishing with .Mac but then I had no web access! The best part about this setup was that my RAZR could sync to iCal and I could update appointments when I didn't have my palm. Of course, Laurie is using GC now which means that I will be using it too.  So now I'm back up to Palm Desktop and GC.  There has to be a unifying front. I think I'm going to try sending iCal invites to a gmail account and see if that works.  Hold on.  ... with ical and Entourage in sync lemme check that too ... oh yeah they're both .ics files .. good ... Success!  Appointment accepted and replied to. So what's next?  Upload all palm appointments to GC and sell the palm?  Maybe not. comment []  trackback []
