Since ringtones are so hot I thought I'd post the way that I just figured out how to make your own for the Treo 650. Take the clipped mp3/aiff (skip to the end if you edit as .wav) and open it in Quicktime Pro.  Substitute QTP with whatever you prefer to use but this is fast and to-the-point. Export the file as Audio WAV, 8 bit, "Faster" - basically lower the sample rate so that it's not a 5mb file. Send file via Bluetooth to the Treo.  This is really easy with a powerbook.
