IGNORE CONDI. Israel has no Choice. There is only one option for Israel. Only one. Israel must win this war. Israel must destroy Hizb'Allah. No amount of mental masturbation in the world community, no amount of State department directed thinking, no amount of caving in on Condi's part is going to change the existential threat presented to Israel. This is the brink of madness. Condi lost her center when she went to State. Suprising. I thought she had a spine of steel. But clearly, the U.S. should be doing everything in its power to insure an Israeli victory. Hizb'Allah/Iran is America's mortal enemy and Israel is doing our dirty work for us (and the rest of freedom loving peoples the world over.) Despite the jihad media, the battle between good and evil has not been so obvious as now (the world loved Hitler, once.) Hizb'Allah's/Iran's sweeping technological advances has catapulted this 7th-century-era brutal regime into the sophisticated war games of the 21st century. These are not rocks folks. This is no intifada. This is a well trained, well armed Iranian foreign legion. Israel is excoriated by a Jew hating world community whether one bystander dies or 100 dies. We know what the international dhimmi agenda is. Little is made of the thousands of rockets raining down on the citizens, towns, and cities in Israel. The civilians of Israel are the target. This is beyond negotiation. This is beyond the two state solution -- all the delusional dreams sold to the fatigued battle-weary people of Israel by the peace conspirators were just that, dreams. No More. No more dead Jews. No more delusions, no more self destructive maneuvers. I don't know if Abu Dana (Ehud Olmert) is up for the task, but if not the Israelis will have to throw his ass out and build the Survival Coalition. Sharon lived to see it all. Sharon lived to see the failure of appeasement. His health took a turn for the worse when Israel was attacked. I suspect his death will have significant historical meaning. Yet today ground operations center on retaking the former security zone - a tiny foothold, control of which makes no impact on Hizbullah's continued ability to rain missiles on sovereign Israeli territory and render a quarter of the population internal refugees or relegated to hiding in bomb shelters for weeks upon weeks. And the message is clear: Since the ground campaign has been unsuccessful in stopping the onslaught, control of territory is not a guarantee of defense and can therefore continue to be surrendered.
