Apple's iphone. Another itunes phone? Another itunes phone will be well received on the market if it's open to more carriers than just Cingular. Personally I wanted a ROKR and later a SLVR but I neither phone was cool enough to switch to a two year contract with an inferior carrier. Come on Apple, roll out to Cingular AND T-Mobile and I'll buy your phone on launch.

The laptop conversion was a success. The Powerbook 12" 1.5ghz now has a Hitachi Travelstar 160gb. This drive uses Perpindicular Magnetic Recording (PMR) which offers higher density storage capacity (pdf)
