The hard workers over in the Mac BU have been posting interesting info on their development blog. This morning sherjo responded to some press regarding the conversion of Win Office 2007 "open" xml format to Mac Office 2004. The post is well written and thorough but the comments are quite divers. This does prove, at least, that Office for Mac is a very important product in the community and that community demands high standards. Although, with my organization moving to Win Office 2007 immediately I've begun exploring and using Open Office since they will have converters out in a few weeks. Read the post and comments here. |
