Global Digital Music Market Booms in 2004  The market for digital music on the Internet and mobile phones took off in 2004, according to a report released Wednesday that showed the global recording industry collecting significant revenues from the segment for the first time.

We hate to admit it, but there have been circumstances when even we have been forced to connect to the Internet via dialup (at the vacation house, say, where there’s no cable modem and DSL isn’t available — ah, the price of solitude). To add insult to injury, we’re stuck snaking a phone line around the house so we can use our laptop in a convenient location (out on the deck, natch). So, we can see the need for something like the WiFlyer, a modem/WiFi router that at least lets dialup users connect wirelessly like the rest of us. And it looks like the gang at A True Review agree. They’ve tested out the WiFlyer, and conclude that it does an “excellent job serving up a dial-up account both wired and wirelessly.
