Apple ITunes Sells 250 Million Songs Now
selling at a rate of more than a million downloads per day, Apple
Computer Inc. said Monday customers have purchased a total more than
250 million songs from its online iTunes Music Store.

64 Bit Windows in April?.
Rumor: RTM sometime in March. Citing "sources", the Inquirer claims
that Microsoft intends to put the 64 bit version of Windows XP on sale
April 29. According to the site, the version will be RTM'd (released to
manufacturing) in March

Analysis Group predicts 50% of US homes will have "fiber deep" (fiber
to the home, or to the curb) connections by 2010.

Auntie (BBC) re-launches her Internet Radio Player,
which should be fully operational tomorrow. It looks as though it will
feature some truly user-friendly facilities. The numbers: it will
feature 500 extra hours of programming and over 80 more programmes,and
they've read over 30,000 e-mails to find out what people want.

GPS Digital Camera Knows Where Pictures Were Taken.
A new digital camera from Ricoh has a built-in GPS
feature and encodes each photo with information on where in the world
it was taken. Special software can then automatically use that
information to enable, for example, special travel-photo blogs that
bring up photos when you click on locations on a map.
