Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has a hybrid bird which they thing is a mixture between a heron and a egret. This is the fourth year it has shown up and has been the topic of conversation amongst birders.

Madison, Wisconsin. The Great Wisc. Birding & Nature Trail is being created by the Wisc. DNR in hopes to highlight all of the natural settings and birding migration that happens in Wisconsin. There will be locations all across the state. Should be a nice way for people to find the best spots for birding and nature in the state of Wisconsin.

North Alabama is have a Birding Expo at Rhodes Ferry Park on May 6th. It sounds like they will be offering many things for many people to do. If a person is interested in birding and nature and live in northern Alabama it seems like this could be a nice way to spend a day.

Farmington, Utah has a annual eagle watching day. It is held at the Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area. It is where the eagles spend the winter. The population peaks there in mid February and then they start going north for nesting the first part of March.
