Iowa's Backbone State Park offers about one hundred species of birds for the birder and in the middle of October there will be a three day seminar with some good speakers in Davenport. Talking about how important it is to maintain some of our woodlands in their natural state.

The UK is trying to do a survey to find out if people can still hear the tawny owl. Because of mankind they are afraid that another species of bird is going away. Once everything is cleaned up we lose our mice and voles and next we lose the birds of prey.
